Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ThrillVana. By booking an expedition with us, you (the “Traveler”) enter into a legally binding contract with Rigasava Advisory Services Private Limited (“ThrillVana”). These terms are designed to ensure safety, transparency, and a clear understanding of the unique conditions of high-altitude Himalayan travel.

1. Booking, Payments & Confirmation

  • 100% Advance Payment: Due to the complexity of securing restricted Inner Line Permits and the requirement for advance logistical commitments in remote border zones, 100% payment is mandatory at the time of booking to confirm your slot.

  • Confirmation of Contract: A booking is considered confirmed only when ThrillVana issues a formal “Booking Confirmation Receipt” via email/WhatsApp after the successful realization of funds.

  • Non-Transferability: Bookings are specific to the named traveler and are non-transferable to any other person or future departure date without express written approval from ThrillVana (which may involve additional administrative fees).

  • Cancellation and refund terms are governed by ThrillVana’s Cancellation & Refund Policy.

  • Travelers are advised to review the detailed policy prior to booking.

2. Mandatory Insurance & Medical Liability

  • Insurance Coverage: All travelers are strongly recommended to carry valid travel insurance that specifically covers high-altitude trekking (up to 15,000 ft) and emergency helicopter evacuation.

  • Assumption of Medical Costs: In the event of a medical emergency, altitude sickness (AMS/HAPE/HACE), or injury, all associated costs—including but not limited to helicopter rescue, specialized mountain ambulances, and hospitalization—must be borne entirely by the traveler.

  • Settlement of Dues: If insurance claims are not approved or are delayed, the traveler must settle all emergency costs on the spot or as required by the service provider.

  • Authority to Descend: For the safety of the individual and the group, ThrillVana’s Expedition Leaders hold the absolute right to order a traveler to descend or discontinue the trip if symptoms of altitude sickness are observed. This decision is final, binding, and non-refundable.

3. Force Majeure & Events Beyond Control

  • Definition: ThrillVana shall not be held liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by “Acts of God” or events beyond reasonable control. This includes: landslides, cloudbursts, extreme weather, road blockages, pandemics, or sudden border closures/restrictions by the Indian Army or Civil Administration.

  • Additional Expenses: Any costs arising from such unforeseen events—including extended stays (extra nights), additional meals, or alternate transportation—are not part of the original package and must be paid on the spot by the traveler.

  • Unused Services: No refunds or credits shall be issued for missed portions of the itinerary or unused services due to these external factors.

4. Permits, Documentation & Entry

  • Identity Requirements: Travelers must carry original Government-issued Photo IDs (Aadhaar Card or Voter ID). These are mandatory for Inner Line Permits.

  • Denial of Entry: ThrillVana acts as a facilitator for permits. We are not liable if military or civil authorities deny a traveler entry to restricted zones (such as Nabidhang or Om Parvat) due to documentation errors, security concerns, or sudden policy changes.

5. Health, Fitness & Disclosure

  • Medical Honesty: Travelers must disclose all pre-existing medical conditions (Heart, Respiratory, BP, etc.) prior to booking. ThrillVana is not liable for complications arising from undisclosed health issues.

  • Right to Refuse: ThrillVana reserves the right to terminate a participant’s journey without refund if their physical or mental condition poses a risk to themselves or the group.

6. Traveler Conduct & Safety

  • Prohibited Substances: The consumption of alcohol or prohibited substances is strictly forbidden during the duration of the expedition. Non-compliance will lead to immediate expulsion from the group without refund.

  • Eco-Responsibility: Travelers must strictly follow “Leave No Trace” principles. Any traveler found littering or harming the local ecosystem/culture may be penalized or removed from the trip.

7. Media & Intellectual Property

  • Consent to Use: ThrillVana reserves the right to use photos and videos captured during the journey for promotional, social media, and documentation purposes.

  • Opt-Out: Travelers wishing to opt out of media usage must inform ThrillVana in writing at the time of booking.

8. Pricing, GST & Jurisdiction

  • GST Compliance: All prices are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Valid GST details for invoicing must be provided at the time of booking.

  • Jurisdiction: Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.
